This part of the unit provides the connection between horse, rider, and chair. The second part of the unit is the All Terrain kit which uses a front pivoting wheel, stabilizing cross bar, and pneumatic bicycle type wheels and tires to provide stability and a soft ride on uneven and sloped surfaces and when making sharp turns. It is highly recommended for use in all situations. The All terrain kit is required any time the Sports Chair is used on non-paved or non concrete surfaces and any time the unit is operated at any speed faster than a walk. Please use extreme caution when using the Sports Chair - remember that that even miniature horses possess great strength and power and even the best trained horse may at times be unpredictable. The Sports Chair is designed to be used as a complete kit - while we do sell the parts individually we highly recommend purchasing the complete Sports Chair with the off road kit and miniature harness. By purchasing the complete unit you will be assured that all parts are installed completely and correctly and are operating properly. The Sports chair is designed to be pulled by a miniature horse standing no taller than 38" at the withers. Please also note that the unit may be adjusted to fit a large dog as well.
